- Summerfest 2005: Visit New Bedford's fun-filled festival, which is quickly gaining an outstanding reputation as an international folk music and arts festival, takes place this July 2 & 3 from 11AM-8PM throughout the New Bedford Whaling National Historical Park.
- Black Ships Festival: Newports Black Ships Festival offers a variety of events that emphasize both Japanese art and culture. See Martial Arts demonstrations, Origami, and so much more. July 14th through the 17th.
- Fall River Celebrates America: Relax and enjoy dozens of music acts, arts & crafts, an international food fair, plus a fantastic fireworks display. Runs from August 11-14, 2005 at Heritage State Park and Battleship Cove.
